A deep lug rubber sole adds height and weight at the base, giving the silhouette the grounded, deliberate quality that Japanese streetwear and dark avant-garde fashion demand. The mid-calf height sits at exactly the right point — high enough to anchor wide-leg trousers and hakama hems, low enough to stay out of their way. The matte black PU upper keeps the surface completely flat and light-absorbent — no shine, no distraction, just black.

Worn with hakama pants, the lug sole adds the visual weight needed to balance the wide hem — without it, wide-leg trousers can look like they're floating. Worn with the layered hakama stripe panel pants, the all-black boot lets the trousers do the talking.
