Strength within silence.
The coat does the work; you simply wear it.
Most jackets start with the body and add a collar as an afterthought. This one starts with the collar — a deep, draped wrap of fabric that folds and bunches asymmetrically around the neck and chest, somewhere between a cowl, a scarf, and a structural statement. Everything else in the design serves it: a deliberately cropped body that keeps the silhouette from competing with the collar's volume, long sleeves that add length to balance the crop, and a clean all-black surface that lets the form read without distraction.
In cotton with just enough body to hold the draped structure, the collar behaves differently every time you wear it — the nature of draped fabric means the folds shift with movement, never sitting exactly the same way twice. That unpredictability is the point. This is dark avant-garde fashion that changes shape with the person wearing it.
Styled as shown over wide-leg hakama pants or trousers, the cropped length creates a clean break that makes both pieces read as part of a single considered look. This is the outerwear for people who treat getting dressed as a daily act of composition.

Style notes
The cropped body works best balanced with volume below — hakama pants, wide-leg trousers, or any oversized bottom half. Avoid slim or fitted trousers, which fight the jacket's proportional logic. The wrap collar can be worn close to the neck for a more structured feel, or pulled wider and looser for a more draped, sculptural look. Both interpretations work. Wear it with the collar forward for maximum visual impact, or turned up to frame the face.
Cut for layering
Sized one beat generous through the shoulder and body so it falls cleanly over knitwear and tailoring alike.
A weight that moves
Italian wool-cashmere melton with enough body to hold its line, enough give to drape as you walk.
Honest provenance
Woven in Biella, finished in Portugal. Traceable mill, fully reground offcuts. The quiet kind of responsibility.
